Business Watch: Tourism expert questions how crime could affect Airbnb in T&T

Thousands of visitors are currently in the country for Carnival but the question is how many of those are staying at hotels and how many are renting private homes.

The Trinidad Hotels and Tourism Association has said that the government needs to regularise home sharing activities like the Airbnb platforms.

But one tourism expert says that the emergence of Airbnb has disrupted the travel and tourism industry.
