Leader of the Tobago Forwards, one of three political parties contesting Monday's Tobago House of Assembly (THA) elections, is claiming that vast amounts of marijuana are being offered to voters to vote for the People's National Movement.

The allegation came after she claimed that money and food cards are also being distributed.
Election campaigns are often riddled with allegations of parties attempting to buy voters, most of which are not backed by any hard evidence.
Education Minister Anthony Garcia is expressing concern about the registration system for primary schools, which results in parents having to line up in the wee hours of the morning to get registration forms.
The Minister says this must not continue and that all parents and guardian should be given forms.

Two men have been shot dead in St Joseph.
One of them has been identified as gang leader Kerlan "Miceman" George.
According to police reports, at approximately 3pm, George went to the Maracas/St Joseph Police Station to sign a condition of the court.
Police say three vehicles were waiting in a side road for the men to leave.

Police are searching for a suspect who shot a police officer outside the St Joseph Police Station this afternoon.
Information reaching us indicate that the officer, PC Lalchan has been rushed to hospital.
His condition is not fully known.
Police say a vehicle arrived at the station where the shooting occurred.
The Ministry of Rural Development and Local Government is taking the national clean-up drive to Port-of-Spain this weekend.
The Ministry is asking residents to clean out their surroundings and put out their bulk and white waste on Friday evening as collection will take place over Saturday and Sunday.
Minister Kazim Hosein has also called for volunteers and corporate partners in the city of Port of Spain to get involved in the clean-up efforts.
