Every Hilarious Reaction to Massy Stores’ 50-Cents Announcement

Massy Stores Trinidad is working hard to eliminate the use of single-use plastic bags. On April 24, the grocery announced that they will charge customers 50 cents per plastic bag, starting July 4. This came as a response to the rising awareness of plastic’s environmental impacts. And according to new research from other countries that made the first move to charge for bags, enforcing fees do actually reduce their overall usage. So, with this change, we’re taking one step in the right direction.

However, Trinis as usual, decided to be very vocal about this. Visit propaeats.com to find out what the country had to say. (You won't regret it, trust us.)
