A flock of flamingos has settled to feed at the Caroni Bird Sanctuary.

While tour operators say it's a great opportunity for tourism and earning of foreign exchange, there are allegations that the flamingoes are being poached.

The Tour Operators Association is calling on the Minister of Agriculture to investigate the matter.

Carmeraman Gary Vincent and reporter Kristy Ramnarine toured the Caroni Swamp and have more in this report.
