The controversial property bought under the People's Partnership, to relocate the Arima branch of the licensing office is being demolished.
Works and transport minister, Rohan Sinanan was on hand to oversee the demolition today.
The property a former hardware in Arima was bought for over 20 million dollars.
The minister says the government has managed to cut costs with the demolition by calling in the agencies under the ministry of national security to assist and he says the matter is now with the attorney general.
