Otaheite fishermen say customers not purchasing their fish

Fishermen in Dow Village and Otaheite say since this month's oil spill in the Gulf of Paria, people have not been purchasing their catch for fear of it being contaminated.

But while they say the fish is still good, they are asking for the EMA or IMA to conduct tests to back that up with data.

In the meantime, they have bills to pay and believe that they should be compensated for their loss of earnings.

Cameraman Ivan Toolsie spoke with the fishermen today.
