Private secondary schools: No increase in subventions, no intake

Private secondary schools are vowing to close their doors to this year's SEA intake unless the ministry of education increases the subvention paid for each student.

The association of private schools says the 12 hundred dollars paid per student each term is far below what it costs to educate a student.

But the ministry of education says every SEA student will have a place as it has already put alternative measures in place.
