15-year-old Couva girl missing

Police are seeking the public's assistance in finding a 15-year-old Couva girl who has gone missing.

Police have issued the following statement:

"Trinidad and Tobago Police Service is seeking the urgent assistance from members of the public in locating a 15-year-old teenaged girl, who was reported missing on Tuesday 15th March, 2016.

Celina Basdeo, age 15, of Carli Bay Road, Couva, was reported missing to the Couva Police Station by her mother, Allana Joseph, around 7:00 pm on Tuesday 15th March, 2016.

She was last seen entering a taxi at around 7:30am on Tuesday 15th March, 2016, on her way to school.

Celina is a Form 3 pupil of Couva West Secondary School. 

She is of mixed descent, medium built, approximately 5 feet, 5 inches tall with a scar on the left side of her chin.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Celina Basdeo is asked to contact the police at 555,999, 911 or any police station. 

No photo of Celinahas as yet been made available to the police."
