17-year-old Williamsville schoolgirl missing

A 17-year-old schoolgirl from Williamsville is missing.

The Police Service issued this media statement this afternoon:

"Trinidad and Tobago Police Service is seeking the urgent assistance from members of the public in locating a 17-year-old teenaged girl, who was reported missing on Sunday 6th March, 2016.

Reshma Ganga, age 17, of Lower Piparo Road, Riversdale Williamsville, was reported missing to the Princes Town Police Station by her uncle, Moses Ganga around 9:30 pm on Sunday 6th March, 2016.

She was last seen leaving her home for a nearby parlour around 4:30pm on the same day.

Reshma is of East Indian origin, medium built, 4 feet 7 inches tall with long black hair and a scar on her left forearm.

She was wearing a white jersey, brown short pants, black rubber slippers and carrying a portable radio.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Reshma Ganga is asked to contact the police at 555,999, 911 or any police station.
