A 20-year-old Tobago man was expected to appear in court charged with the murder of his 15-year-old girlfriend.
Kareem Phillips, of Plymouth, is expected to appear before a Scarborough Magistrate for the murder of Abiela Adams.
Adams, a form three pupil of Signal Hill Secondary school, was found with her throat slit near a pile of rubble at Solenn Lane, Fidelis heights north in Courland in February.
She was last seen by her parents three days earlier.
Adams was a member of the Trinidad and Tobago under 15 women’s national football team.
She was also an avid cricketer.
