Air Canada resumes flights to T&T next Tuesday

Air Canada has kept its promise to return to Trinidad and Tobago after dropping the route eight years ago.

The flights will resume on Tuesday next week and last for one year.

The Ministry of Tourism has issued a statement confirming the return of the flights which was announced in April this year.

The flights will be operated be Air Canada Rouge, Air Canada's leisure carrier.

It will fly a 282-seat Boeing 767-300ER aircraft offering a choice of premium and economy cabins.

The service is expected to run for a year and will link Toronto and Port-of-Spain non-stop.

The first flight will arrive here around 3 pm Tuesday 20th, December 2016.

Air Canada had flown the route for 60 years before it dropped the route in 2008.
