Goals from Paulinho in the 26th minute and Thiago Silva in the 68th, saw Brazil maintain the top place in Group E.
Brazil will now face Mexico in the round of 16 on Monday at 10 am.
Switzerland will be the next team through in this group, after 2-2 draw with Costa Rica.
The Swiss went ahead in the 31st minute with a strike by Blerim Dzemaili but Costa Rica bounced back with a goal by Kendall Watson in the 56th minute to make it 1-1.
Josip Drmic put Switzerland back ahead in the 88th minute but Costa Rica were not done as the Swiss goalkeeper Yann Sommer turned in a rebound after Bryan Ruiz hit the post with a penalty.
Switzerland will face Sweden on Tuesday morning.
