British national one of two people murdered last night

This country has recorded two murders, overnight.

In the first incident, British national Adrian St John was in the company of two women at VP Branch River around 8.30 last night when two men approached and announced a robbery.

The three were relieved of their valuables and ordered into a vehicle.

St John was instructed to drive off.

A short while later a loud explosion was heard and one of the women noticed that John had sustained a gunshot wound to the back of the head.

The police were contacted and St John was taken to the Eric Williams Medical sciences complex where he died.

In the next incident, a 23-year-old man was stabbed to death last night in St Joseph.

According to police reports, at about 9:30 pm Aaron Ramsaroop was liming with a man known to him when they got into an argument.

The confrontation soon became physical, during which Ramsaroop was stabbed several times about the body.

The wounded man raised an alarm and relatives rushed the 23-year-old to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex.

However, Ramsaroop succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
