CAL clears backlog of passengers on airbridge

Caribbean Airlines says all passengers booked for travel yesterday, 28 December, on the domestic air bridge were transported, with the airline’s operations returning to normal by late evening.

The airline says that with the support of its Boeing 737 jet fleet, it transported all passengers holding confirmed tickets for travel, as well as 288 stand-by passengers for travel to/from Trinidad and Tobago. 

For today, 29 December, Caribbean Airlines has a seat capacity of 4,432 on the domestic air bridge.

A statement by CAL says that over the Christmas holiday week from 21 – 28 December, Caribbean Airlines transported 20,073 passengers on the domestic air bridge between Trinidad and Tobago, of which 4,430 were stand-by passengers.

The airline is thanking customers for their continued support, and says it looks forward to providing safe and reliable airlift to the people of Trinidad and Tobago in the New Year.
