A photo appearing on the Instagram page of Central businessman Sheron Sukhdeo seems to suggest that he has purchased a light aircraft.

Sukhdeo is popular for a car business he runs in Chaguanas.

The post on his Instagram page - sherons_auto - shows a picture of a fixed-wing, multi-engine propeller aircraft with Sukhdeo on the wing.

It is captioned, "Fed up buy cars" and is followed by another comment "All thanks to the father for all his blessings".

The aircraft is registered as N6739Y.

The website "flightaware.com" says the aircraft is a Piper Apache with six seats and two engines, and a top speed of 150 mph.

It was manufactured in 1968.

The Federal Aviation Authority in the United States lists its last owner as Tropical Interisland Express Corporation of Dover, Delaware, USA.

The last flight shows the aircraft flying from the Piarco International Airport on Saturday at 3.33pm.

It headed south before turning north again and landing back at the airport at 3.50pm.
