Trinidad and Tobago's Cleopatra Borel has qualified for the final of the Shot Put in the Rio Olympics.
Borel saved the best for last as she threw 16.94 metres, followed by 17.78 metres and then 18.20 metres.

Her final throw placed her 8th among a field of 36 competitors.
The leading time was set by New Zealand's Valarie Adams with a throw of 19.74 metres.
Brel is the first T&T athlete to qualify for a final of any event in Rio.
