The Ministry says Minister of Community Development, Culture and the Arts, Nyan Gadsby-Dolly will be present to meet Calypso Rose and deliver remarks in tribute to her achievement of winning her first ever French Grammy Award, Victorie De La Musique.

Calypso Rose has been on a worldwide tour promoting her latest album, “Far From Home,” which has produced the immensely popular track, “Leave We Alone.”

She is returning home for Carnival 2017, where she is scheduled to perform in concert on Friday February 24, 2017 at the Queen’s Park Savannah.

The reception is being hosted by the Culture Division of the Ministry.
