Late freedom fighter Makandal Daaga, the former founder of the National Joint Action Committee (NJAC), will be buried on Saturday, the day he was to turn 81.
The funeral will take place at 9 am at the Queens Park Savannah, Port of Spain.
Daaga, who led the 1970 Black Power Movement, died at the Port of Spain General Hospital on Monday.
He had been ailing for several months.
A condolence book has been opened at NJAC office, Duke street, Port of Spain.
Daaga is the holder of the nation's highest award, the Order of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
