Free entry into Chutney Soca Monarch Finals

The producers of this year's Chutney Soca Monarch competition are opening their doors to members of the public wishing to view the show, for free.

A statement from Southex Limited, confirms the free entry but there is one condition.

The following is the statement from Southex:

"Producers of the 2016 PICK 2 CSM Grand Finals have announced that they will offer ‘free’ entry to all patrons attending the show on Saturday 23rd January at Skinner Park, San Fernando. 
However, patrons must be inside the venue by 9pm to get this offer.

The Chutney Soca Monarch will celebrate its 21st Anniversary this year.

The theme this year – The Cooler Monarch – allows patrons to also bring their coolers in before 10pm. The show starts at 9pm.

Raymond Ramnarine and Dil E Nadan will be doing a special concert performance at the Grand Finals in what is expected to one of the best productions for Carnival 2016.

Producers have boasted that they will be transforming Skinner Park, and while inside the venue, patrons may forget they are actually at the park.

20 of the best Chutney Soca artistes in the world will perform at the Final.

There will be two categories at the Grand Final – Traditional and Chutney Soca as in 2015."
