Commissioner of Police Gary Griffith held talks today with Port of Spain mayor Joel Martinez to discuss security arrangements for the Christmas and Carnival season.
They also discussed the use of glass bottles by patrons during next year's Carnival celebrations as well as wrecking and street vending in the Capital city.
Commissioner Griffith and His Worship Martinez reaffirmed their commitment to deepen collaboration toward ensuring safety and security of all citizens who enter Port of Spain.
Also in attendance were ACP (Ag.) North West, Joanne Archie and Snr. Supt. Port-of-Spain Division, Floris Hodge-Griffith.
The meeting took place at the Mayor’s Office, City Hall, Port of Spain.
