Guns and ammunition seized

A quantity of illegal guns and ammunition has been seized in Central Trinidad.
Reports say at around 7:40 pm on Monday, officers from the Freeport police station raided the home of a 23 year old man at Bank Village, Carapichaima.
Officers say they found two pistols and several rounds of ammunition.
They also recovered 1 bullet proof vest.
The suspect was arrested and taken into custody and is expected to appear before a Couva Magistrate on Wednesday.
