Hurricane Matthew forces postponement of Miami Carnival event

Hurricane Matthew has already affected one event related to this weekend's Miami Carnival which is attended annually by thousands of T&T nationals.

Tribe has been forced to postpone its IGNITE Miami fete carded for Thursday as a result of the weather.

The following is a statement issued today by Tribe.

"As many of you are aware a State of Emergency has been declared throughout the state of Florida due to the impending impact from Hurricane Matthew.

At this time the city of Miami has suspended permissions and strongly advised against hosting events on Thursday 6th October.

Weather permitting, we are making alternate arrangements to host TRIBE Ignite Miami on the night of *Friday 7th October.*

This will be confirmed once Hurricane Matthew has passed and we are granted permission to host the event. 

We apologize for the inconvenience however the safety and well-being of our patrons remains as always our highest priority.

Hurricane Matthew is already responsible for 11 deaths and is approaching East Florida.
