Lauryn Hill to headline Tobago Jazz

Lauryn Hill will be one of the star attractions at this year’s Tobago Jazz experience.

Hill, whose Grammy-award winning debut album, the Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, remains one of the standout hip hop albums, was announced today as the headline act.

Other international stars carded for the event are Third World and Bajan saxophonist Arturo Tappin.

Local acts will include David Rudder, Farmer Nappy, Patrice Roberts, three Canal, Roy Cape all stars and Trinidadian jazz trumpeter Etienne Charles.

The cast was revealed at a media conference this morning in Tobago.

The other acts are expected to be announced at a later date.

The Tobago Jazz experience runs from April 16 to 24th.
