Rough seas continue to affect exposed coastlines of Trinidad and Tobago.
A statement by the Met Office says sea conditions continue to be rough with wave heights reaching 3 to 3.5 metres in open waters and 1 metre in sheltered areas, becoming choppy at times.
The statement says that these above-normal marine conditions are attributed to persistent strong winds in the lower levels of the atmosphere.
It says that sea conditions especially, in open waters, are forecast to continue to be agitated for at least the next 2 days.
As a result, small craft operators, sea bathers and all other marine interests are being asked to exercise extreme caution in any sea related activities.
