"Dear Members of the Press,
As National Directors of the Miss World organization have started making their migration to Sanya, China in a show of support to their respective delegate and to attend other important events we are pleased to announced that so too is the National Director of Miss World Trinidad and Tobago Mrs. Vanessa Sahatoo-Manoo who arrived in Sanya today December 11, 2015.
Mrs. Sahatoo-Manoo has a full schedule ahead of her but first and most important she will check in on Miss Trinidad and Tobago Kimberly Singh who has not been feeling too well during the past few days.
After checking up on Kimberly Mrs. Sahatoo-Manoo would be attending approved events by the Miss World Organization for all National Directors and networking with the other National Directors as a viable avenue to further promote our country.
Upon her first point of entry in China at the Beijing airport Mrs. Sahatoo-Manoo was met by his Excellency Chandradath Singh Ambassador for the Embassy of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago to the People’s Republic of China.
Mrs. Sahatoo-Manoo has also taken along with her two very important pieces of designs that could not go at the time when our Queen departed Port of Spain. These are the “National wear” and the “Best Designer Gown” designed by two of our nation renowned designers Charu Lochan Dass and Michael Salickram.
The “Best Designer Gown” was designed by Charu Lochan Dass to be worn for the “Best Designer Challenge” segment. Every delegate is to participate wearing a local designed and made gown where the designers are judged. Last year winner was Miss India.
The “National Wear” was designed by Mr. Michael Salickram to be worn for “the Dances of the World” which is the opening segment of the Miss World pageant.
Ms. Lochan Dass and Mr. Salickram are the only authorized and approved sponsors/designers for Miss World Trinidad and Tobago 2015 for these two important segments.
On behalf of the Miss World TT organization we would like to thank the following sponsors who made Mrs. Sahatoo-Manoo’s trip possible:
