That's how residents are describing conditions existing along the Mon Desir to Rousillac leg of the Solomon Hochoy Highway extension to Point Fortin.
They say failure by the authorities to provide street lights and clear overgrown bushes are a major hazard.
Concerned over the safety of motorists, the residents came out in numbers on Tuesday evening, armed with flambeaus and glass bottle lamps to serve as street lights.
Councillor for Mon Desir, Deryck Bowrin says the Rousillac leg of the highway pose a major safety threat to commuters.
According to Chandra Ramadharsingh, Councillor for Rousillac/Othaeitie the particular piece of highway appears to be unforgotten by the government.
