NGOs get $375,000 from ANSA Foundation

The ANSA McAL Foun­da­tion on Thurs­day dis­bursed about $375,000 to ten re­cip­i­ents NGOs at a brief cer­e­mo­ny at the TATIL build­ing on Thurs­day morn­ing.

Among those re­ceiv­ing grants were or­gan­i­sa­tions work­ing in ed­u­ca­tion, med­ical ser­vices, spe­cial ed­u­ca­tion, and com­mu­ni­ty out­reach.


A state­ment from the foun­da­tion said the or­gan­i­sa­tions in re­ceipt of do­na­tions were: Beause­jour Com­mu­ni­ty Coun­cil, rep­re­sent­ed by Ms Raisa Bel­con; Caribbean Kids and Fam­i­lies Ther­a­py Or­gan­i­sa­tion rep­re­sent­ed by Mrs Krista Hamel-Smith; Caribbean Can­cer Re­search Ini­tia­tive rep­re­sent­ed by Ms Kim­ber­ley Badal; Es­i­ma­je Foun­da­tion (Nel­son St Boys’ RC School), rep­re­sent­ed by Dr David To­by and Dr Oti Es­i­ma­je; the Holy Name Train­ing Cen­tre, rep­re­sent­ed by Ms Kris­ten Ram­paul; Let’s Read, rep­re­sent­ed by Mrs Suzette Cadiz; the Rain­bow Heart Foun­da­tion, rep­re­sent­ed by Mrs Dharia Nel­son-Seales; the Spe­cial Child Foun­da­tion, rep­re­sent­ed by Chester Lack­a­too; and the Trinidad & To­ba­go So­ci­ety for the Pre­ven­tion of Cru­el­ty to An­i­mals—To­ba­go Shel­ter, rep­re­sent­ed by Leon Fran­cis.
