The NWRHA says the machine will be undergoing maintenance during this period.

The following is a statement by the NWRHA:

Port of Spain, August 25th, 2017. The North West Regional Health Authority (NWRHA) wishes to advise the public that the radiotherapy machine at the St James Medical Complex will be undergoing scheduled maintenance during the period Monday 28th August, 2017 to Friday 8th September, 2017.

Radiation therapy will not be conducted during this time. However, we have established alternative management pathways for emergency cases. Regular service is expected to resume on Monday 11th September, 2017.

The NWRHA apologises for any inconvenience caused during this period. Upon completion of the maintenance work, treatment times will be reduced, thereby ensuring improved service delivery.
