There are reports of an oil spill occurring on St. Ann's Road in the vicinity of Queen's Hall, today.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Rural Development and Local Government, the Port of Spain City Corporation's Disaster Management Unit raised an alert about the spill, this morning.
According to the ministry’s release, members of the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Service were on the scene, dealing with the spill.
Citizens were urged to proceed with caution and follow the directives given by officials on the scene.
The ministry says all traffic was being diverted temporarily through Cascade, until the all clear was given.
