There’s a word of caution to the PNM this afternoon to wait for the official results from the EBC on two recounts in the Sangre Grande Regional Corporation before the party lays any claim to the corporation.

The advice comes from the UNC’s chairman, Dr. David Lee, and opposition senator attorney Gerald Ramdeen.

Both commented on the statement by the PNM and its chairman, Franklyn Khan, that the pm is claiming the Sangre Grande corporation despite the fact that recounts have been requested and will be carried out at 9 am tomorrow.

At a press conference this morning, Khan said the PNM was claiming victory in the corporation.
