The organisers of the 2017 One Island concert are focussing on another concert to provide relief for the recent victims of flooding in Trinidad and Tobago.
The concert is to be called 'We4We'.
The event will take place on Sunday November 4th, 2018 at the Centre of Excellence in Macoya from 2 pm to 10 pm, with the cost of admission set at $50 and any items of non-perishable food, cleaning supplies, clothing, or bedding which will be loaded to containers on the spot.
It will include performances from 3 Canal, The Marcia Charles Dance Group, Benjai, Blaxx, Isasha, Rembunction, Penelope Spencer, Cecilia Salaza, and over 60 other performers.
It will also be aired via a live telecast on Aspire TV and Gayelle The Caribbean.
Originating from the need to do regional hurricane relief in Dominica, Antigua and Barbuda September 2017, the first One Island concert was held at the Queen’s Park Savannah with exceptional results raising approximately $122,000.
