Passer-by rescues Enterprise woman following another gun-beating attack

An Enterprise woman, found in a violent and potentially fatal situation, was rescued by a passer-by in the Enterprise district, last night.

The 24-year-old woman was walking along Enterprise Street, Enterprise, around 9:30 pm when she was forced into a vehicle by a man known to her at gunpoint.

The woman told police she was beaten about the body with the use of a firearm by the attacker.

Upon approaching Montrose Junction, the woman told police she jumped out of the moving vehicle but was pursued on foot by the attacker.

It was at this time, a passer-by intervened rescuing the woman from further harm.

The attacker fled the scene.

The Good Samaritan drove the victim to the Chaguanas Police Station to make a report and she was subsequently conveyed to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, where she is currently warded.

Trinidad and Tobago Police Service commends the brave actions of the passer-by, which resulted in the victim’s rescue from further physical injury. An arrest of the suspect is imminent.
