A Barataria man is expected to appear before a Port of Spain Magistrate charged with the murder of his neighbour, Jherryl Brown, which occurred on Saturday 2nd June, 2018.
Terrance Stewart James, aka “Brooklyn Bond”, 42, a photographer, of Upper 7th Avenue, Malick, was charged with murder following advice received from Director of Public Prosecutions, Roger Gaspard SC, on Friday 22nd June, 2018.
Brown, 35, a taxi driver, also of Upper 7th Avenue, Malick, was found seated in his vehicle outside his home by neighbours, with gunshot wounds about the body on Monday 15th May, 2018.
He was taken to the hospital, where he died weeks later, on Saturday 2nd June, 2018.
Investigations were supervised by Insp. Christopher Fuentes and W/Sgt. Belinda Sylvester, both of Homicide Bureau of Investigations, Region 2, while James was charged by W/Sgt. Natalie John, who was at the time attached to San Juan Police Station, on Friday 22nd June, 2018.
