One man was arrested and a revolver and quantities of cocaine and marijuana seized, by officers of the Southern Division Task Force, during an anti-crime exercise conducted in the Princes Town district yesterday morning.
The exercise, which included officers of the Princes Town and Barrackpore Criminal Investigations Departments, was conducted on Tuesday, during which a search warrant was executed at the Stone Road, Piparo home of a 49-year-old labourer.
The search resulted in one Colt revolver, 35 grammes of marijuana and 35 grammes of cocaine being discovered in the house.
The suspect who was found in the house at the time of the exercise was arrested in connection with the finds.
Investigations are ongoing.
