Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley has returned to Trinidad and Tobago and will not be affected by the effects of Tropical Storm Dorian.
A statement by The Office of the Prime Minister said Dr Rowley returned from Barbados early this morning ahead of the planned shutdown of air transportation leaving the island today as a result of the storm.
Dr Rowley and Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Mottley witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two countries on Saturday 24 August, 2019 in Bridgetown, Barbados.
Dorian is expected to start affecting Barbados Monday afternoon.
