Roger Wallace, aka ‘Roger Stoute’, has appeared before a San Fernando Magistrate, charged with the murder of Joan Cooper, which occurred, on December 8th 2016.
The accused, 27, of Plaisance Park, Pointe-a-Pierre, was also charged with possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition and wounding with intent, against the victim’s common-law husband, Carl Edmund.
Wallace, appeared before Senior Magistrate Cherril-Ann Antoine in the San Fernando 1st Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 23rd May, 2017, to answer to the charges.
The matter has been adjourned to Tuesday 6th June, 2017.
Cooper, 53, of Union Hall, Marabella, was found dead in her vehicle which was parked outside her home on December 8th, 2016.
Edmund, of the same address, was found in the same vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Wallace was charged by PC Desmond Mathura of Homicide Region 3, following advice received from Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions, Joan Honore-Paul, on Tuesday 23rd May, 2017.
