Police: Artistes must resist lewd behaviour during performances

Police are warning artistes to desist from lewd behaviour while performing.

The warning came from Sgt David Swanson of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service as the Carnival season gears up.

According to Sgt Swanson, lyrical content and how its delivered by entertainers often border on breaching a number of offences.

Sgt Swanson reminded masqueraders to conduct themselves in a responsible manner.

He also pleaded with the revelers not to obstruct police officers from carrying out their duties during the Carnival period.

Sgt Swanson was speaking on CNC3's The Morning Brew.
