Police destroy 150 marijuana plants in pots

Police have destroyed 150 marijuana plants following an exercise in the Maracas/St. Joseph District.

The exercise was carried out by officers attached to the Maracas/St Joseph police stations.

The exercise, coordinated by ACP (Ag.) Sterling Hackshaw and Snr. Supt. McDonald Jacob, was conducted between the hours of 2:15 pm and 7:00 pm on Tuesday 9th May, 2017.

Around 6:30pm, officers went to an area along Sumbodara Hill, Maracas, where the marijuana plants were found in pots in an open area.

No arrests were made in connection with the find.
