Police probe murders in Diego Martin, Arouca and San Fernando

Police are investigating three murders in Diego Martin, Arouca and San Fernando over the last 48 hours.

20-year-old Jerome Paris was shot dead in Ste Madeleine on Monday night.

According to police, the men were standing at the roadside near Walker’s home at St Clements Village when a vehicle pulled alongside them.

Three men came out of the vehicle and opened fire, killing Paris on the spot and injuring a 26-year-old man.

Meanwhile, a man was stabbed to death in Arouca last night. 

Police are also investigating an incident in which a man was stabbed to death in Arouca last night.

The man has been identified as 49-year-old David DeLancy - (Photo attached to this article).

Meanwhile, police are investigating the murder of a man on Sunday in Diego Martin.

Selwyn Gaff of Savannah Number 1, Diego Martin along with four other men went to a forested area in Macqueripe.

Gaff was shot in the abdomen under unknown circumstances.

The men left the area around 6pm, leaving the 28-year-old behind.

However, one of the men reported the matter to the police on Monday.

Around 3:30 pm Monday, police along with members of the army and fire service went into the area where they discovered the man. 

They rushed him to hospital but he was pronounced dead on arrival.
