Police: Two threats made on Griffith's life - one Sunday, one today

Police have said that the arrest of a 12-year-old boy for a threat against Police Commissioner Gary Griffith, was separate from another threat made against the Commissioner and his wife today.

According to police, the Command Centre received a call around 1:30 am on Wednesday 21st November, 2018, during which a caller threatened the lives of the Commissioner of Police and his wife.

It says police are at this time actively investigating this matter.

It says the minor who was arrested, made the threats to the E999 Command Centre on Sunday and was arrested yesterday when he surrendered to police.
