Defending Caribbean Premier League (CPL) champions, Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR), will welcome home swashbuckling T20 international all-rounder Kieron Pollard for the 2019 season.
The news was first reported by the T&T Guardian on Monday, and confirmed by TKR's Director of Cricket, Venky Mysore.
The Indian owner said, "We are delighted to welcome Pollard back home and its great to continue our efforts to bring as many Trini boys home as possible.
I can’t wait for the reaction of the fans when Pollard takes the field at our opening game on 4 September."
The T&T all rounder walks into a winning team with the defending champs seeking a fourth CPL title. TKR has won the title in 2015, 2017 and 2018.
He's played in 474 T20 matches. He played for the Barbados Tridents between 2013 and 2017 and for the St Lucia Stars in 2018.
This is the first time in the tournament's history he will be playing for his home side.
The rest of the TKR team will be unveiled when the draft takes place on May 22nd in London.
The 2019 CPL will be played from 4 September to 12 October 2019.
