Rough seas bulletin discontinued

Buoy data as well as reports reaching the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service indicate that sea conditions over the last 6 hours have been gradually improving along affected coastlines of Trinidad and Tobago, a statement from the Met Office said.

Currently, sea conditions are moderate, with wave heights reaching up to 2.5 metres in open waters and near 1.0 metre in sheltered areas.

Additionally, Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) models forecast sea conditions to improve further and gradually return to a state of normalcy over the next 24 hours.

As a result, the Rough Seas bulletin is being discontinued.
