Ruptured transmission pipeline causing water disruption in lower Piparo

The Water and Sewerage Authority advises customers in the area of lower Piparo, who are currently experiencing a disruption in their pipe borne water supply that this is due to a ruptured transmission pipeline, located at the Junction of Old Piparo Road and Guaracara Tabaquite Road.

Emergency repair works presently underway are expected to be completed by 12:00 midnight on December 30th.

Customers are further advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the supply to normalize all affected areas following the completion of repairs.

A limited truck-borne water service has been and is available to affected customers.
