San Fernando City Corporation worker finds gun, hands over to police

A man employed as a truck driver with the San Fernando City Corporation, has found and handed over to police, a gun, which was discovered while he was working in the San Fernando area.

Police say the 45-year-old Pleasantville man was driving a City Corporation vehicle, around 8am on Monday 10th April, 2017, when he observed a silver object resembling a firearm on the roadway, along Circular Road, San Fernando.

The man took the object to the Mon Repos Police Station, where officers identified it as being a Beretta pistol, containing one magazine and 15 rounds of .9mm ammunition.
