A 26-year-old Sangre Grande woman has appeared in court charged with the sexual penetration of a child.
Shaneeza Muntaz, a nutritionist, was granted $100,000 bail with surety when she appeared before Magistrate Adia Mohammed.
The matter has been adjourned to Thursday, December 13, 2018.
The offence is alleged to have occurred at the Cascadia Hotel in St Ann's on July 18 against a 14-year-old boy.
A report was made by the boy's mother to the Child Protection Unit following which an arrest was made.
The charges were laid in accordance with the Children's Act 2012.
