Santa Flora housewife arrested as police find protected parrots at house

A 31-year-old Santa Flora housewife has been arrested and 28-yellow-headed parrots seized by officers of the South Western Division Task Force during an anti-crime exercise conducted in the district.

The exercise, coordinated by Snr. Supt. Neville Adams, supervised by Sgt. Shaeed Ali, and including a party of game wardens attached to the Forestry Division’s South Patrol, was conducted between 12 noon and 3 pm on Tuesday.
