A man wanted by the police for questioning in the disappearance of WPC Nyasha Joseph has surrendered to police.

The 24-year-old Sealots suspect surrendered to officers around 7:30 pm last night.

Police received a call from his attorney Richard Clarke-Wills, telling them that the man wanted to give himself up.

Police went to Pioneer Drive in Sealots where he was taken into custody.

He is being questioned by officers about the disappearance and death of WPC Joseph.

His attorney said the man wanted to give himself in after pictures of him began circulating online on Wednesday.

He insists he is innocent of the crime.
