Seven people have been arrested for gambling in a common gaming house during an anti-crime exercise conducted in the Princes Town.
Police say that between the hours of 4pm and 7pm on Friday 31st March, 2017, officers from the Princes Town Police Station, arrested five men and one woman for gambling in a common gaming house, while one man was arrested for using premises as a common gaming house, without a license.
One roulette machine and four wall-mounted game devices were also seized.
ASP Shiraz Ali co-ordinated the exercise, which was supervised by Sergeants Seepersad and Ishmael.
