'Short Boss' charged with Tobago murder

A Mt. St. George man is scheduled to appear before a Scarborough Magistrate charged with the murder of Shonneil Duncan, which occurred on Sunday 6th May, 2018.

Nekosi Davis aka ‘Short Boss’, 20, of Back Street, Mt. St. George, was charged on Tuesday following advice received from Director of Public Prosecutions, Roger Gaspard, SC.

Duncan, 27, a labourer, also of Back Street, Mt. St. George, was standing along Back Street around 7 pm on Sunday 6th May, 2018, when he got into an altercation with a man known to him, over money.

The victim was subsequently stabbed once in the neck and died at the scene.

Davis was arrested the following day by officers of the Scarborough Divisional Task Force at a house along Mt. St. George Road.

Investigations were supervised by Insp. (Ag.) Rohdill Kirk, of Homicide Bureau of Investigations (HBI), Tobago, while Cpl Burt Guy, also of HBI Tobago, laid the charges against Davis.
