St James man charged with maliciously damaging Tobago hospital property

A St. James man was granted $75,000 bail by a Scarborough Magistrate, after pleading not guilty to a charge of malicious damage to property belonging to the Tobago Regional Health Authority.

Ricky Scott, 50, a carpenter of Bournes Road, St. James, was also charged with using obscene language and disorderly behavior, when he stood before Magistrate Annette McKenzie, in the Scarborough 1st Magistrates’ Court, on Friday 6th April, 2018.

The matter has been adjourned to Tuesday 24th April, 2018.

Scott is accused of behaving in a disorderly manner and damaging the glass of a receptionist’s counter, at the Scarborough Regional Hospital, on Friday 23rd March, 2018.

The damage has an estimated value of $3,510.

Scott was charged by WPC Shevern Roberts, of the Scarborough Criminal Investigations Department, on Friday 6th April, 2018.
